With 15 years of experience as a Mental Health Counselor both in private practice and as the director of counseling at a local college, she is currently working as a private practitioner serving a broad spectrum of clients. Among
Madeleine's areas of expertise is Self-Compassion focused therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for various issues such as depression and
anxiety, mindfulness counseling, grief counseling, and parenting support.

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Madeleine has presented at national conferences and to local audiences speaking on the topics of mindful self-compassion, the importance of play and preventing counselor burnout.
